IDGC of the North-West to decrease the time required for power supply recovery in case technological disturbances in electric power grids by 13%
During the coming winter, IDGC of the North-West  (subsidiary company of IDGC of the Russian Grids, JSC) to decrease the time required for consumer power supply recovery in case technological disturbances in electric power grids to 4.6 h. The news was communicated by General Director of IDGC of the North-West Alexander Letyagin at the press conference held for journalists from the regions of the Company's presence.
He communicated that, within the framework of the agreement on coordination with Lenenergo, JSC, joint headquarters had been established in the current year to coordinate blackout elimination works within adjacent territories the two companies are in charge of. “The personnel of our interfacing branches and production divisions have undertaken a series of joint drills to promptly response to any natural calamities and recover power supply as quickly as possible”.
Alexander Letyagin also noted that during the current year IDGC of the North-West had become an undisputable leader among Rosseti, JSC subsidiary companies in terms of forest corridors clearing and expansion scope: “The volume of work in this area has increased by almost 70% as compared to the previous year. The annual planned performance is to be reached already in October”.
