Meeting of Delegations of International Youth Energy Forum in Beijing Has Ended

On May 21, 2015 a work meeting of the delegations of the International Energy Forum, which is annually organized by Rosseti, JSC for the best young specialists of major national energy companies of Europe and Asia, ended in Beijing.

During its stay in Beijing within May 17 - May 21, a team of young power engineers was performing its project work in the Training Centre of the State Grid Corporation of China, met with the chief engineer of the Corporation, visited innovative energy facilities. A cultural programme was also provided for the Forum delegates.

'The Great Wall is now broken in several locations, so we can perfectly organize an energy connection between Russia and China,' noted Aleksey Kondarev, a member of Rosseti team - the Head of Capital Construction Department of Kubanenergo branch Office (Krasnodar Power Grids) during a tour to the Great Wall of China.

The International Youth Energy Forum in 2015 was dedicated to aspects of national grids integration. Its main topic is 'Design and Integration of Future Electric Power Systems of the Future: Endless Opportunities?' The main objective of the Forum participants is to create a project of a future energy system and to define national electric power systems integration vectors. In order to explore the features of power systems operation, in May and June 2015 participants visited Moscow, Beijing and Paris.

The Beijing stage of the International Youth Energy Forum, which ended today on May 21, became the second one after a similar work meeting in Moscow. The next stage will be held in Paris, early in June. The Final of the International Youth Energy Forum will be held in June in St. Petersburg, within the SPIEF-2015.
