ROSSETI Took Part in Meeting of CIS Electric Power Council in Yerevan
The delegation of Rosseti Group of Companies, headed by the First Deputy Director General for Technical Policy of JSC Rosseti - Roman Berdnikov, took part in the 47th meeting of the CIS Electric Power Council, which was held on May 26, 2015 in Yerevan.

The meeting was attended by the heads of industry ministries of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and Tajikistan, the authorized representatives of industry ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova and Turkmenistan, as well as the heads of national energy companies, the heads of research institutes, professional and social organizations and enterprises manufacturing electrical equipment.

The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the results of the autumn-winter period of 2014-2015. The meeting participants also reviewed a number of documents related to the expansion of the interaction of CIS Electric Power Council with other bodies of industry cooperation of the CIS countries and international organizations.

In particular, a draft agreement was presented on exchange of information on accidents at electric power facilities of the CIS and the draft agreement on cooperation in the field of vocational education, which could become important steps to the improvement of reliability and efficiency of energy systems joint work. After the approval by the CIS Electric Power Council, the documents will be forwarded to the CIS Executive Committee for consideration by the Council of the CIS Heads of Government.
