Rosseti, JSC Awarded the Winners of the National Start-Up Tour 2015

On June 3, 2015 at Startup Village Annual Conference Rosseti, JSC awarded the winners of the National Start-Up Tour 2015 in 'Electric Power Industry - Technologies of Energy Transfer, Distribution and Storage' Section. The authors of the most successful startups in the electric power industry sector received competition laureates' diplomas, as well as certificates for electric vehicle test driving and tickets to three home games of PFC CSKA for the Russian Premier League 2015-2016.

The following projects, among others, were recognized as the best ones in the Electric Power Industry of the National Start-Up Tour 2015: 'i-TOR-110 - First Autonomic Unit of Energy Consumption Commercial Accounting for 110 kV Overhead Lines', 'Energy Saving and Efficiency Increasing Based on Surface Acoustic Wave Technology', 'High-Precision Location of Overhead and Cable Lines Failures with +/- 1 metre accuracy', 'Device for Overhead Line High-Voltage Insulator Disruption Indication', 'Device for Power Take-Off from Overhead Line Phase Conductor', 'Transformer with Ceramic Insulation'.

From February till June, 2015 Rosseti, JSC was taking part in the National Start-Up Tour as an industrial partner in the areas of responsibility. The purpose of the Tour, organized by the Skolkovo Foundation, is to find promising innovative solutions and to help young developers in shaping their own development strategies.

Subsidiaries and affiliates of Rosseti, JSC acted as regional partners of the National Start-Up Tour 2015. They took an active part in organizing the competition, and it allowed young scientists and companies' specialists to declare their projects at specialized platforms for potential investors and institutions, to listen to the master classes and to visit workshops of the world high-tech market leaders and foreign start-up communities.

Within three months of the Tour a number of events were held in Rostov-on-Don, Tomsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk and Moscow.
