Third Stage of International Youth Forum Has Ended in the French Capital

The latest stage of the International Youth Forum, organized by Rosseti, JSC, ended on June 5, 2015 in the capital of France.

During a two-day session in Paris (June 4, 2015 and June 5, 2015) the Forum participants got acquainted with special aspects of operation of a subsidiary of Électricité de France (EDF), the electric power company - Électricité Reseau Distribution France (ERDF). Young people met with experts on active-adaptive networks development, experts in work with clients and energy transit management of ERDF. During the visit, they also visited the ERDF presentation centre - Showroom Smart Grids Grenelle, where they could see for themselves the benefits of grids equipment with intelligent electricity meters.

'Special attention will be paid to ERDF achievements in improving medium- and low-voltage grids monitoring, these technologies are widely used in France nowadays and this experience can certainly be used in Russia,' said Natalia Yakshina, a participant of Rosseti team.

In addition, the team continued to work on the creation of projects of future energy systems. Under the terms of a competition programme of the Forum, when developing their projects, teams shall take into account key aspects and the potential of cross-border integration of national energy systems in Europe and Asia.

Upon the completion of their work young professionals presented theses of projects, which they have yet to defend at the final stage of the Forum in St. Petersburg.

The French stage of the cultural programme includes a tour of the Palace of Versailles, as well as a tour on riverboats through central Paris.
